Staff Reporter| Matabeleland South Provincial Committee of the Joice Mujuru led People First party did the unthinkable over the weekend when they bundled CIO and police officers out of their executive meeting.
The meeting ended prematurely as the CIO agents turned their anger on the owners of the private place where the meeting was being held.
Sources say the CIO threatened that hosting a People First meeting was conspiracy to insurgency against government and the place could be “listed and marked as agents against government.”
Under pressure, the property owners are reported to have demanded the party to move out of the venue citing personal security concerns.
The sources claim that things went wayward when the chairperson of the meeting, the former MDC (Ncube) member, Bekezela Fuzwayo, asked everyone in the meeting to introduce themselves. During the identification process, it turned out that at least ten (10) CIO and Police Internal Security Intelligence (PISI) officers were present.
Fuzwayo is reported to have then questioned the large number of state security agents at the meeting more so the presence of CIOs who were never called to the meeting.
Fuzwayo then told the officers that they could not proceed with the meeting with the officers in attendance as the it was supposed to be a closed door private convergence. Other members of the party in attendance concurred, resulting in a war of words as they demanded the officers to leave the meeting.
After more than thirty minutes of scuffling, the officers then finally agreed to leave the meeting room to monitor the proceedings from outside.
Instead of monitoring the meeting from outside as agreed, the disgruntled and embarrassed CIO agents then called for reinforcement and more officers thronged the place resulting in the threats to the owners of the venue to stop the meeting.
A party member who was part of the meeting claims that the meeting had been properly cleared by the police PISI section but the CIO agents made sure that the meeting would not go ahead.
ZimEye.com could not get an official comment from the party senior officials in the province. Police in Gwanda however claimed ignorance of the People First meeting held in Gwanda over the weekend.
Meanwhile, CIO agents in Chinhoyi stopped an interdenominational church gathering which was suspected to be attended by Mujuru. The pastor of the host church was briefly taken into custody by the CIO agents.

Judging by the statements coming from you mdc guys, I think you are worse than zanupf. You are nasty and evil, how can wish anyone to get hurt. I hope you keep loosing, as it would be dangerous to give such people some kind of authority.
Why would anyone apologise to mdc? What exactly do you think you are are? K. Why don’t you just worry about your leader who says that , he might not contest the elections.
You are not the referees, its becoming boring, just tell us what mdc will do and leave People First and Joice alone, let the people decide. Who knows, she might win.!!

We all know that intimidation, harassment, beating, rape and even murder are part and parcel of Zanu PF political culture of violence. ZimPF leaders know this, MDC leaders know this and, indeed, the whole nation knows this but are doing nothing to end it. SADC gave us the answer in 2008, implement the democratic reforms; we failed to get even one reform implemented during the GNU and we are still doing now now.
We are the victims of Zanu PF’s culture of political violence all of us but this is one situation where we are victims because we choose to be victims. “Kurumwa nechokuchera” as one would say in Shona.

Although I hate this abhorrent behaviour by these security operatives, Mujuru is learning fast that the party she led for decades does not brook any challenge. I don’t understand why the ZPF has not divulged all they know about the underworld operations of the Guky party. This will give a heads up on other opposition parties on CIO operatives masquerading as bonafide party members.
Mazoe(ZimEye)The ZANU PF MP for Guruve South who was recently fired from COPAC after ZANU PF Secretary General Didymus Mutasa accused him of leaking secrets to the opposition MDC party, Edward Chindori Chininga, has been involved in a car accident, ZimEye can exclusively reveal.
The MP was caught up in a life threatening road traffic accident that left him bleeding profusely and at the time of writing police officers were standing helplessly at the scene as the legislator remained trapped inside the vehicle.
Chindori Chininga’s car after the accident
The accident occured about 50km from Harare along Guruve road, close to 5km from Harare-Bindura road.Chindori Chininga
The MP also had an emergency drip supply being administered owing to the excessive bleeding.
LET THEM TASTE THEIR RECIPE. I THINK FOR PEOPLE FIRST TO SURVIVE MUTASA should leave politics and apologise to the people of Zimbabwe for what he did to them. A Murderer to hell with Mudhidhi Mutasa

Mujuru enjoyed such treatment of opposition parties` meetings during her long tenure in government for more than thirty years. She must swallow the medicine.
