
By Own Correspondent| Environment, Water and Climate Minister, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri said Zanu Pf realised that they were fooling themselves to give former president Robert Mugabe another five year mandate at the helm of power hence the party resolved to allow President Emmerson Mnangagwa to take over.
Addressing guests at the official opening of Eureka gold mine in Guruve today (Wednesday), Muchinguri showered praises to Mnangagwa revealing that the President’s initials ED now stood for “Economic Development”.
“We realised as a party that we were foolish to allow former president Mugabe to lead us for another 5 years.
That is when ZANU-PF decided to allow President Mnangagwa to take over,” said Muchinguri.
She described President Mnangagwa as a “listening leader who values the masses”.
“Our President is a servant and unifying leader who does not keep grudges,” she said.
