By Paul Nyathi|The Bulawayo Magistrates court has issued a warrant of arrest on the Thokozani Khupe led MDC-T Chairman Abednico Bhebhe on charges of violence.

Bhebhe was due to appear at the magistrates court on Thursday but failed to turn up and with no communication to the court. His absence from court led to the magistrate issuing a warrant of arrest on him.

Explaining his ordeal to the media on Thursday. Bhebhe claimed that he failed to make it to the court after his car broke down on the way to the courts from a campaign programme in Nkayi South.

“I will go and hand myself over to the court and explain why I failed to attend,” said Bhebhe.
