Terrence Mawawa|The Premier Soccer League has written a letter to the national football body ZIFA proposing the change of the local season calendar.

The local campaign usually starts around March and ends in December. The proposal seeks to change these dates and move the opening week of the season to around August so that it aligns with the new CAF calendar.

The CAF season now begins in August and runs through into the following year.

Clubs will submit written reports on the state of preparedness in terms of infrastructure, human resources and any challenge that need to be addressed in line with the proposal.
