ZCTU Leaders Acquitted

Jane Mlambo| ZCTU President Peter Mutasa, Secretary General Japhet Moyo and five others who were facing charges of participating in an unlawful gathering and attempting to cause public disorder for Organising and participating in the 11 October 2018 demonstration have been acquitted by a Harare Magistrate.

The Magistrate granted their application for dismissal which was filed at the closure of the state case.

Meanwhile Moyo and Mutasa will be appearing at the Harare Magistrates Court tomorrow 25 April on treason charges for calling for the January 14-16 stay away.
