The party has pulled off the bi election contest claiming this to honour the late founder Morgan Tsvangirai.
Khupe’s formation daily harrassed and dishonoured the late Tsvangirai during his last weeks on earth, in the moments leading to his untimely departure in February 2018.
In a short statement, the party said it has decided to pull out.
Khupe’s vice president, Obert Gutu, said the decision was made in honour of the late Morgan Tsvangirai.
Events running up to the end of week showed that Tsvangirai’s son, Vincent, is now representing Nelson Chamisa’s MDC.
He took up the challenge following his sister, Vimbai’s untimely departure following a horrific accident in May.
Gutu announced saying: “Nomination Court for Glen View South by-election sat on Friday, July 26, 2019. MDC-T decided not to field a candidate because we found it unconscionable to field a candidate to contest against Vincent Tsvangirai, son of our late iconic leader, Dr.Morgan Tsvangirai… MHDSRIEP”
