By A Correspondent| The popular AFM pastor Dr Shumbambiri has died.

ZimEye is reliably informed the Reverend passed on early Saturday morning after a health struggle. He was 80.

Mourners are gathered at his home in Bindura.

In a statement, the church said, “THE LEGEND DR REV SHUMBAMBIRI HAS MOVED ON TO BE WITH THE LORD

The crippling heaviness, the insurmountable pain, the groaning spirit…..in all this we thank the Lord for the tonnes of love, spiritual guidance, purity and faithfulness that was imparted by our FATHER on the entire Church.

We will finish the walk and defense of faith that he pioneered.

May His Soul rest in eternal peace.”
