The freedom-loving PEOPLE of Zimbabwe in general and the PEOPLE of Bulawayo in particular won resoundingly after the High Court dismissed an urgent application by a Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers Association, the ZANU PF aligned Bulawayo United Residents Association (BURA), Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe, Grain MIllers Association and Davis Muhambi.

The applicants sought to interdict the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) and the peace-loving Zimbabweans, under the auspices of the Free Zimbabwe March, from participating in a peaceful demonstration on Monday 19 August 2019.

The applicants, one of whom is a former ZANU PF Bulawayo Provincial Youth League member ground the political axe for ZANU PF.

However, the Judge saw through the applicants’ subterfuge, concealment and trickery and dismissed the court application.

The ruling is not just a victory for constitutional democracy but also a reminder to the rogue regime that the people will eventually get their freedom.

EVENTUALLY THE PEOPLE WILL TRIUMPH.
