CHITUNGWIZA based Zim dancehall chanter, Champz Mativi – real name Epilogue Mutunya – was recently bashed by thugs while coming from a studio around midnight.

Champz Mativi, who could not identify the hooligans who attacked him, suspects foul play from his former colleagues who used to be in his music clan called Big Mero.

He also believes that envy and jealous could be others causes of his recent attack.
The chanter narrated how he was attacked.
“I was coming from the studio around midnight when I got attacked.

“The producer walked to a certain spot and left me alone as he went to his place.
“While I was alone, three thugs that I could not identify attacked me violently.

“They bashed me, took my iPhone 10, soundcard, pants and shoes.
“I, however, recovered my iPhone 10 in Zengeza 2 at shops since it has a tracker,” said Champz Mativi.H- Metro
