Farai Dziva|MDC Youth Assembly leader, Tererai Obey Sithole has challenged Emmerson Mnangagwa to stop harassing victims of corruption.

Sithole condemned the persecution of human rights defender Makomborero Haruzivishe.

“They arrested my brother Makomborero Haruzivishe yesterday.

He was brutalized and later arrested for simply being a conscious #Zimbabwean.

We demand his unconditional release for we all know he is not a criminal. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa arrest corruption not victims of corruption,” charged Sithole.

“Makomborero Haruzivishe stood with me when I was abducted and tortured by the dark forces of evil in our country. When I couldn’t speak he spoke for me and when I couldn’t walk he supported me.

I know and understand him. It breaks my heart to know that he is suffering in police custody and I’m not able to do much for him. I raise my voice to demand his release and for him to get medical treatment. Persecution of human rights defenders should end,” said human rights activist Tatenda Mombeyarara.
