By A Correspondent- Zimbabwe Miners Federation (ZMF) President Henrietta Rushwaya has been reinstated as the Federation President following her suspension last year.

During a meeting held at short notice at the Rainbow Towers today, ZMF members unanimously agreed to reinstate Rushwaya with immediate effect saying her suspension was unconstitutional.

The Federation stated that the suspension was not lawful and that it is the duty of the National Executive not of the General Council (Management Committee) to suspend her.

Mr Daniel Chitenje moved the motion to lift the suspension before it was seconded unanimously.

Rushwaya has been reinstated forthwith.
