Hotel Refuses To Speak On Sulumani Chimbetu Friend’s Death

By A Correspondent-Mystery continues to surround the death of Sulumani Chimbetu’s best friend’s death who was found dead at Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on May 5.

Givemore Panganayi, a Harare businessman disappeared during a party at RainBow Towers which he attended with Sulumani Chimbetu was found dead in a non-functioning elevator at the hotel.

According to his friends, Panganayi stood up during the night to answer a call on his mobile phone, but he never returned.

A police source said the decomposing remains of Panganayi were discovered by a hotel employee on Tuesday afternoon in a non-functioning lift.

The body was recovered to Parirenyatwa Hospital by police officers later in the evening for a post-mortem.

Zimlive said that Rainbow Towers spokesperson Pride Khumbula said: “We have no comment.”
