On Monday Mr Mnangagwa attempted to use the Kazungula Bridge Commissioning to steal political limelight.

According to former Harare City Mayor, Councillor Ben Manyenyeni, Mr Mnangagwa scored an own goal as he celebrated the “Snub Zimbabwe Project.”

Manyenyeni argues the commissioning of the magnificent bridge means regional countries will by-pass Zimbabwe.

This Kazungula Bridge was built to avoid and by-pass a very difficult country called Zimbabwe which still has the pride to send its whole President to the official opening of the “snub-Zimbabwe” project!

And South Africa – a clear beneficiary of the new bridge only sends its Bots Ambassador to the official opening?

Maybe we just love official openings?
