THE ZIMBABWEAN government has acted to effect the immediate dismissal of Premier Service Medical Aid Society (PSMAS) Chief executive Cuthbert Dube, as well as the firing of his board Chairperson Mrs M.M Namasasu.
The development comes after ZimEye revealed Dube awarded himself a salary which is 7 times more than what US President Barack Obama gets at a time his medical society was also struggling to meet its due monthly obligations.
Sources in the Ministry of Health told ZimEye the directive was given by the Minister in charge.
Dube has been taking $230 000 home every month on top of other handsome allowances. He was the head of the ZBC board which was also fired by government last year for awarding the corporation’s four top management amazing salaries and allowances.

People are getting lot of high salaries at PSMAS head office. I know a secretary there was able to borrow money last year about $50 000 from bank to buy a house. So imagine how much is her salary?.

The authorities should look critically at the other members of the board and senior management..the stench is suffocating the whole nation. Let this be the beginning there is a lot more being hidden..Dube was not robbing the company alone..dig deeper. Now use the same speed to fire the other para bosses who have also been robbing the people. At the end of the day Dube must make good everything he received over and abvoe what he was entitled..same for the other robber barons trying to disappear into the woods and cracks in the wall.

Richbert Dube has ruined the lives of all contributing civil servants.. That is why he sponsored the Sylvia Dube Soccer touney and sponsored ZIFA and the warriors. A clever man does not fire Cathbert alone he fires even those who did not check why he gave himself this salary. The equation is not complete if the firing stops at Richman Dube. Go on complete the equation and he should pay back the money. If anything happens to Mr Dube we will not miss him.
