Police Boss Killed By Tree in Harare
27 December 2015
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Officer Commanding Harare Province, Senior Assistant Commissioner Shadreck Mubaiwa has been smashed to death by a tree planted close to President Robert Mugabe’s house which could have easily killed the Head Of State.
He was 54.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Mubaiwa died at A.M.I Medical Centre in Harare, from injuries sustained when a tree fell on his car while travelling along Borrowdale road opposite St Georges College. President Mugabe uses the same access route when leaving his official State House residence.
His death officially confirmed by ZRP Sunday morning, came with shock as Zimbabweans speculated it was too sudden.
