The Zimbabwe Republic Police has once again been defeated by the Women of Zimbabwe Arise after a Bulawayo court set them free.
WOZA leader Jennie Williams said, “Victory in court, state withdraws charges against 9 and attemp to change charges against myself, magistrate rules for dismissal for us all.”

Magistrate Batsirai Tuhwe granted an application filed by Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights lawyers challenging the placement of WOZA leader Jennifer Williams and nine other WOZA members on remand on criminal nuisance charges. The 10 WOZA members were arrested early this month for allegedly staging a protest outside Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo during a cricket match between Zimbabwe and New Zealand.
