Mnangagwa win
Mnangagwa win

The open humiliation of Grace Mugabe’s G40 faction last night by President Mugabe’s own spokesman George Charamba plus the rigging of elections in favour of the Mnangagwa faction are clear signs the Vice President has outwitted the First Lady, analysts say. That VP Mnangagwa is the incoming President of Zimbabwe is now thus a foregone conclusion, the Zimbabwe Forecast Institute says. Their statement comes as the Vice President gained strength against the First Lady in Masvingo province.
Jaboon Rigs Zanu PF Election In Favour Of Mnangagwa Aide
By Terrence Mawawa, Masvingo|Controversial Zanu PF Provincial Political Commissar Jeppy Jaboon is under fire for rigging the party’s primary polls in ward 5 Chiredzi West Constituency, in favour of a known Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa sympathiser and aide-Blessing Mazinyani.
The primary plebiscite was held last Saturday to choose a candidate who will represent the troubled ruling party in the Chiredzi Urban ward 5 by-election scheduled for April. The post became vacant after MDC councillor Munyaradzi Hatinahama was jailed last year.
Disgruntled candidates have accused Jaboon of rigging the polls in favour Mazinyanyi and have since appealed to Zanu PF national Political Commisar Saviour Kasukuwere to nullify the result, it has emerged.
“Jaboon presided over vote buying and blatant disregard of the party constitution to rig the election in favour of Muzinyani who is a member of his faction. People who voted are not in the party structures but Jaboon did nothing to rectify the matter. Jaboon is sympathetic to Mnangagwa so he was biased towards a member of his faction. However we have appealed to the national Political Commisar to intervene in the issue,” said a disgruntled party member.
ZimEye.com has also been informed Jaboon did not use any electoral college and there was no proper vetting before voting.
It is understood the Mnangagwa camp is determined to grab all key positions as it seeks to annihilate the G40 team.
