Robert Mugabe’s personally handpicked politburo members are on Wednesday meeting to discuss the President’s chaos caused through his personal utterances to commit violence on all people calling for him to step down.
Last week Mugabe violated the constitution when he threatened torture on every war veteran who votes to suggest that he steps down.
While the state media says that various issues affecting the party and general state of the economy would be handled, sources revealed the Mugabe discord with war veterans would take center stage.
“You know Zanu-PF and war veterans cannot be separated so it is important that the party establish the origins of that document disguised as a war veterans’ communiqué,” a source told the state media referring to the paper in which Mugabe is ordered to resign with immediate effect.
Mugabe last Wednesday attempted to out-do the war veteran’s communiqué as he tried out another so called war veterans’ meeting at the shake shake building. But a ZimEye.com investigation with Mugabe’s lieutenants unraveled the whole plot. People who gathered to pacify Mugabe were predominantly youths and post-war-born women. Buhera South MP Joseph Chinotimba also revealed to ZimEye he had no standard statistical evidence to support his claim that some war vets are in Mugabe’s support.
Party secretary for administration Ignatius Chombo confirmed the meeting. Although he did not divulge the agenda, the state media says latest political developments and the economy would be discussed. “Yes, we are meeting on Wednesday as Politburo,” Chombo said.
Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa is likely to also give an update on measures being implemented by Government to improve the economy.
Last month, Minister Chinamasa presented several intervention measures to the party’s Central Committee, which he said were at various stages of implementation.
Among the interventions, Chinamasa said Government had introduced cash withdrawal limits and had put in place mechanisms to ensure that companies, especially those in the retail sector bank their money.
The state media source added saying: “Another aspect that can be up for discussion is the issue of appeals that are still pending. Sydney Sekeramayi could also give a report on the current developments in the war veterans sector, where some few individuals are seeking to cause confusion in that critical arm. You know Zanu-PF and war veterans cannot be separated so it is important that the party establish the origins of that document disguised as a war veterans’ communiqué.”
The source continued: “A preparatory roadmap for the National People’s Conference to be held in Masvingo in December is also likely to be discussed. We need to set various committees to do the preparations of that conference,” they concluded.

What you comment and what is on paper are two different issues. You mention about Mthwakazi, where is the border, capital city and moreso the inhabitants expect a few of you day dreamers. I am a Shona married to a Ndebele family and imagining your comments and how much we have bonded as two families, i dont think you belong to this modern world of interaction. I would advise you to take this Mthwakazi shit of yours to some place in Mars or anywhere (i dont care) but not in a modern Zimbabwe where intermarriages are the order of the day. Yes while at it, the origins of the Shona Gukurahundi 1979 ZANU PF Grand Plan should also be investigated, discussed and the authors dealt with. Furthermore, the consequences of this document in Mthwakazi should also be reversed.
Dont just investigated the Veterans Communique only because its against you. Any threatening mysterious documents against fellow citizens should be dealt with wholistically.
