There was obviously no need for the President to go into the reasons why sanctions were imposed on us. He spelt out what we need to do to be accepted by the family of nations. That engagement process will inform the world that we are now a different nation. Back home he stressed the need for credible, free and fair elections. Before the President ‘s speech, Mutsvangwa had been instructed to retract his earlier statement that the army would be used to campaign for Znau PF.
Yes people like Hungwe must not talk about things they do not know. I think we now need to let George do his job otherwise the President’s good intentions will be soiled by the likes of Chris and Hungwe. All in all it was an excellent speech.
