By A Correspondent| A disturbing incident has been reported at Seke Fly over, in Harare. Two vendors were Thursday night shot dead by police at flyover Seke road at about 18:47pm.
The trouble began when an unnamed cop approached kombi (Chitungwiza-City) that was dropping passengers at the Seke Road flyover. Driver resisted cop’s action and cop drew his pistol and fired warning shot…
The chaos then went over to the police Charge Office with a crowd stoning offices; ZRP cars being stoned following death of two pedestrians, who were shot by a cop at the Seke Road flyover.
It is reported that after firing warning shot, the unnamed cop then fired and hit an elderly man who reportedly had nothing to do with kombi; and he died on the spot.
After another warning shot, the cop struck again and caused a second death while in addition a lady vending groundnuts was wounded by gunshot. Unconfirmed reports say 3rd person died on way to hospital…
At the time of writing the injured were being put into a kombi and taken to Charge Office where an ambulance later arrived to take them away.
