Terrence Mawawa, Masvingo | Coalition of Democrats(CODE) Presidential Candidate, Elton Mangoma has a lasting solution to the country’ s health woes, a member of the coalition has said.

“Due to the increasing number of expecting mothers in the Rujeko and Mucheke Suburbs in Masvingo, the CODE government is set to construct maternity wards at Runyararo and Rujeko Clinics.

Maternity wards will promote accessibility to maternal health and safe motherhood.

This will help to decongest Mazorodze Clinic.

Mazorodze Clinic is sometimes congested since it is the only health centre with a maternal wing in Mucheke.

The project will also help in promoting and enhancing antenatal and postnatal care ,thereby reducing infant mortality and morbidity rates.

We do not want a situation whereby mothers give birth at homes due to lack of health facilities.
