By Paul Nyathi| Initial reports from Lupane in Matabeleland North indicate that the provincial National Peace and Reconciliation Commission stakeholders consultation meeting has been forced to end prematurely by picketing Mthwakazi Kingdom proponents.

Reports from the provincial capital indicate that a group of about twenty Mthwakazi Republic Party aligned people who drove all the way from Bulawayo to demonstrate at the hearings and forced the hearings to end prematurely.

According to ZimEye.com sources on site, the group which also disrupted similar hearings in Bulawayo last week complaining that the commission is predominantly made up of Shona speaking people who according to them do not have the capacity to listen to Gukurahundi issues.

The Lupane hearing is the second one to be disrupted in the Matabeleland region. The hearings were only successful in Gwanda.
