Terrence Mawawa| A self declared war veteran, Obert Mpofu, who raped his wife’s younger sister, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Mpofu allegedly raped the 15- year- old girl after threatening to shoot her.

Mpofu raped the minor between May and October 2017.

Rusape Magistrate Livingstone Chipadza heard that Mpofu sneaked into the minor’s blankets, fondled her breasts and raped her.

Mpofu also raped the juvenile twice when his wife had gone to Gaza Business Centre for a church meeting.
