BREAKING: Doctors Strike Deal With Mnangagwa, Chiwenga

By Dorrothy Moyo| Junior Doctors have reportedly struck a deal with government that has likely brought their strike to an end.

Vice president Constantino Chiwenga intervened.

A letter which ZimEye reveals shows that an agreement was reached on as announced today, Thursday.

The deal stipulates that there will not be any victimisation of doctors who went on strike. Yesterday the Ministry Health Permanent Secretary threatened to fire doctors on strike.

The doctors’ On call allowance has been increased from $1.50/hr to $5/hr i.e. $800/month among other adjustments. Below was the announcement.
