By Terrence Mawawa| Two prominent musicians were dumped by the ruling party, Zanu PF in Chivhu after being asked to perform at a rally.

Party sources told ZimEye.com Freddy Manjalima popularly known as Kapfupi and Howard Pinjisi were stranded in Chikomba West Constituency after being dumped by an aspiring Parliamentary candidate at the weekend.

Frantic efforts by the two to seek assistance from Industry and Commerce Minister Mike Bimha were futile.

The rally was organised by an official identified as Edmore.

“We spent almost 15 hours with the musicians as they could not travel back to Harare due to transport problems,” claimed a Zanu PF official from Chikomba West Constituency.
