A Zanu PF legislator is under fire for having close links with former First Lady Grace Mugabe.

Party hawks are pressing for the expulsion of Chivi Central MP Ephraim Gwanongodza who is said to be a member of the G-40 faction.

Party bigwigs in Chivi also want former MP Paul Mangwana to replace Gwanongodza.

“We have solid facts to prove that Gwanongodza is a G-40 member,” said a Zanu PF Provincial Coordinating Committee member.

Gwanongodza dismissed the allegations as utter falsehoods being peddled by his detractors.
