Botswana have managed to lift the inaugural President’ s Cup following a hard fought victory over the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
Botswana got their goal in the first half and managed to guard their lead jealously.
The Warriors were denied what appeared like two genuine penalties in the second half.
Speaking after the game Warriors head coach Sunday Chidzambwa said he was happy with the result despite the loss.
“Look we have a lot of youngsters so we have to be patient with them.
We are still going through a rebuilding exercise.
The boys have tried their best.Let me congratulate Botswana for the victory,” said Chidzambwa.
