Police in Zaka are investigating a case of alleged bribery involving Chief Nhema.

According to police in Zaka, Chief demanded $ 1, 600 and four beasts to facilitate the installation of Headman Mugomeri in the Zibwowa Area, Zaka District.

“We are currently following a case in which Chief Nhema allegedly demanded $ 1, 600 and four beast to facilitate the installation of Headman Mugomeri.

Headman Mugomeri’ s aide filed a report last week,” police in Zaka said yesterday.

However Chief Nhema refuted the allegations and claimed his detractors were spreading malicious gossip to tarnish his image.
