By Paul Nyathi|Reliable information coming through to ZimEye.com indicates that Daily News editor Gift Phiri was on Sunday arrested and charged with criminal trespass after he was spotted taking pictures of senior police officers briefing Zanu PF polling agents at Zvishavane police station.

ZimEye.com informants indicated that Phiri was made to pay a twenty dollar fine for the offence and released.

Details are still sketchy and efforts to get a comment from Phiri failed at the time of writing.
