The Workers’ Day commemoration event at Mucheke Stadium yesterday was marred by chaos as MDC officials jostled to hold the microphone.

Chaos ensued when MDC Masvingo Urban District Secretary Faustino Murambatsvina openly attacked Masvingo City Mayor Councillor Hubert Fidze.

Murambatsvina who was representing the party in the ZCTU structures chose the grand stage to pour vitriol on Fidze.

“You are a total failure Mr Mayor.You failed to promote people like me who are educated. I am studying for a doctorate but I am still a municipal security officer What is that?Chisa Chamisa Chisa!!”, said Murambatsvina.

His sentiments irked Fidze’ s sympathisers who nearly manhandled him.
