While many people in and out the country associate the ruling party Zanu PF with thuggery, violence and vandalism, Benjamin Taguma Mazarire who is vying for the Masvingo Urban Constituency Parliamentary Seat believes the new dispensation has brought a paradigm shift.

Mazarire won the Masvingo Urban primary polls against the odds after beating his fancied rivals Eddison Zvobgo Junior and Goddard Dunira.

“I am a devout Christian and I dedicate my victory to the Almighty God.

I am very active in the work of God and that is the secret behind my success,” said the soft spoken Mazarire.

Mazarire is likely to face MDC’ s Takanayi Mureyi in the unpredictable Masvingo Urban Parliamentary plebiscite.
