By Paul Nyathi|The ZANU PF National Youth League led by Pupureyi Togarepi has been given three days to begin campaigning for President Emmerson Mnangagwa or they be kicked out of office.

Members of the youth league affiliated Zimbabwe Youth Action Platform gave the ultimatum to the national youth league in a statement on Friday.

Leader of the Zimbabwe Youth Action Platform Tonderai Chidawa said that the party youth league leadership has diverted from its mandate of campaigning for President Emmerson Mnangagwa to concentrate on building emperors for themselves.

“When we seconded these leaders to their positions in January, their mandate was to push the #EDhasmyvote campaign but they are now busy in their own campaigns and neglecting the party,” he said.

According to Chidawa party youth members will push for the removal of the leadership if they fail to present an action plan for the campaign by Monday.

“They have three days to ship in or shape out,” said the youth leader.

Efforts to get a comment from Togarepi were not successful at the time of writing.
