War Vet Blasts Mnangagwa’s “Son”
15 May 2018

ZANU PF senior war veteran, Douglas Mahiya yesterday raised complaints against President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s nephew who he said does not qualify to contest in election primaries.
Mahiya and others protested over Tongai Mnangagwa’s presence ( in Harare South) who they said does not meet the party’s laid down criteria.
A petition will not be handed to the party’s seniors.
Tongai Mnangagwa, who cast his vote in Southlands, dismissed the claims.
“People making noise are afraid of the support that I command. I have been in party structures since 2010 and a paid up member. The party’s provincial structure and Politburo upheld my candidature on the basis of my track record in the party,” said Mnangagwa.
