By Showbiz Reporter| A rumour that sungura musician Alick Macheso was involved in a fatal accident yesterday has been rubbished.

Macheso’s manager told ZimEye.com last night there is no truth at all in the report floating on social networks since yesterday. The message claimed in writing:

“Tine urombo Hama munashe Macheso. Aita tsaona pa maruta akafira ipapo.”

But the man told ZimEye the people spreading the message are mad. “Vanopenga ava!,” he screamed shortly before putting the phone down.

The rumour comes at a time when the singer was also subjected to insults on social network website, Facebook.
