A prominent Pastor in Bulawayo has apologised on behalf of all Shona people for gukurahundi murders orchestrated by former president Robert Mugabe and current president Emmerson Mnangagwa in the early 1980’s (see video below)

THE founder and leader of Eagle Life Assembly Church in Bulawayo, Dr Prophet Blessing Chiza apologised during a church service and declared his apology has been an instruction from God.

Pastor Chiza’s apology comes after members of the public taking part on ZimEye live broadcast program called on current president, Emmerson Mnangagwa to take a simple step and apologise for gukurahundi attrocities.

As the government remains adamant on apologising for the masacres in the 1980’s that killed over 20 000 people, an increasing number of individual Zimbabweans of Shona origin are apologising to the Ndebele people for the murders.
