By Own Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has hinted that the culprits who have tried to kill him before have a hand in today’s explosion which injured at least 45 people 6 of them seriously.

President Mnangagwa ruled out the possibility of the attack being orchestrated by the people from Bulawayo adding that “his normal enemies” are responsible for the bomb explosion at White City Stadium in Bulawayo.

During the White City stadium violence, a bomb like object was clearly seen flying from the left side (head level) towards president Emmerson Mnangagwa. ZimEye can reveal with impeccable graphic evidence that the object seen flying from the left, descended past a soldier as well as a man dressed in white trousers, straight onto the area near President Mnangagwa’s feet and within a split second the explosion occurred. Said President Mnangagwa: “I do not think the evil people are part of Bulawayo. The evil people must come from elsewhere. It is not Bulawayo. The people of Bulawayo were so happy to see me.

People outside Bulawayo did this I can assure you.These are my normal enemies. The attempts have been so many. It’s not the first attempt on my life. I have had six attempts on my life. My office was broken into. I have had cyanide put into my office. They have tried to poison me I survived. All these things I have been surviving.

But this will have no bearing on elections. This behaviour belongs to defeatists. I am happy that the campaign throughout the country is peaceful.”
