Ajax Cape Town have confirmed the departure of Zimbabwe international striker Tendai Ndoro.
Ndoro joined Ajax in January this year after moving from Saudi Arabian team, Al Faisaly.
In a statement posted on their website, the Cape Town-based side said they have decided to release the player.
The statement reads:
“The Urban Warriors have officially parted ways with Tendai Ndoro.
Ndoro’s contract was up for renewal at the end of this month (June 2018); however we have opted not to extend his stay at Ikamva.
The club would like to wish Tendai all the best in his future endeavours and we thank him for his services over the past six months.
The former Chicken Inn man’s spell at the Urban Warriors was marred by controversy after he breached FIFA rules and regulations.
