By Farai D Hove| Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has announced that a new currency is on plan to be introduced so to ease the cash crisis.

VP Chiwenga made the comments at his rally function in Mataga Growth Point, Mberengwa.

Speaking on Wednesday afternoon, Chiwenga said the cash crisis will soon be over as government is planning on “introducing a local currency and stiff penalties to curb money laundering.”

He did not go into details to reveal its name and the specific timing.

He was still speaking at the time of writing.
