By Farai D Hove| President Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday said under his presidency Matabeleland North is going to produce diesel.

Mnangagwa said the province is endowed with natural resources such as gold, coal, diamonds and lithium.

Mnangagwa was speaking in Lupane.

“Matabeleland North has many natural resources and has the largest reserves of coal-bed methane in southern Africa. Very soon we will be producing fertiliser and diesel from the resource,” he said.
