The famous old lady who was captured on a video that went viral on social media failing to pronounce MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa’s surname, on Saturday emotionally wept on stage at the MDC Alliance rally on meeting with Chamisa.

The very old gogo who took quite sometime to go up the few steps to get on the stage was invited to the stage by Chamisa to publicly thank her for the support she have him on the social media video.

The old lady was asked to speak in front of the huge crowd but could only be overheard indicated to a family member who accompanied her on stage that she can not speak as she is afraid of being killed.

“He has seen me and that’s enough,” gogo was heard speaking into the microphone.

“I am afraid to say anything because you people capture me on your cameras and they will kill me. You know they threatened to kill me, I can’t say anything,” said the teary old lady before turning away to walk back.

Turning to the crowd, Chamisa responded angrily to the threats that were made on the old lady.

“How do you threaten such an old person, for what reason? Its that what we fought for” said Chamisa.

The old lady was captured in a video indicating that Zimbabweans should vote for Khamisa, failing to Chamisa. Therr video went viral on social media.

Chamisa expressed joy at meeting the old lady.

“I only saw gogo on video but today am very happy to see her live,” said Chamisa.

“When we have won the elections, gogo must be brought for the inauguration ceremony and I will accommodate her at State House,” said Chamisa.
