By Own Correspondent| Harare City Council has revealed that the treatment of cholera, typhoid and other diarrhoeal diseases is being provided free of charge at all city health institutions dispelling rumors that the country’s health institutions had no capacity to deal with the cholera outbreak.

The city of Harare also said that it is adequately resourced to deal with cholera, contrary to some social media reports that there is no medication.

In a statement, the City of Harare said:

“All Harare City Council health institutions are well equipped to deal with any suspected cholera cases.

Treatment for cholera, typhoid and diarrhoea is free.”
