Zanu PF Secretary for Youth league, Lewis Matutu has already declared his support for Emmerson Mnangagwa’s candidature in the 2023 elections, effectively closing the door on Constantino Chiwenga who is believed to be eyeing the hot seat.

Mathuthu who introduced Mnangagwa at the ongoing Youths League meeting in Harare chanted what he said is the party’s 2023 slogan which says, “2023 ED Pfee.”

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Chiwenga is pushing for Mnangagwa to go for one term and relinguish power but Mathuthu said his slogan was meant to warn those dreaming of taking over the party reigns before 2023.
