By Own Correspondent| The leadership of the party and the entire MDC family has been saddened by the untimely death of Councillor Happison Ncube.

Said the MDC Spokesperson Jacob Mafume:

The party and its entire leadership is saddened by the untimely death of councillor Happison Ncube.

Ncube was a promising young man who raised his hand to serve the people of Bulawayo’s ward 28, Cowdry Park in Luveve and help transform in areas of service delivery.

He was a cadre who served in various capacities in the MDC Youth Assembly.

A fearless activist who steered social movement activity in Matebeland when it was not fashionable to do so.

Like many he was in turmoil and tenacity. Arrested and brutalised but never relenting.

The MDC conveys it’s condolences to his family and the people of Bulawayo.

We however celebrate a life of service, sacrifice and commitment.

Rest in Power Councillor Happison Ncube.
