By Own Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s interim team within government has been struck by various mysterious ailments with several government officials in and out of the hospital since the formation of the current government.

A South African prophet Alph Lukau last year said Vice President Constantino Guvheya Chiwenga stepped on a lion’s tail hence he became sick.

Citizens here however interpreted the statement to mean that he was being punished through some form of witchcraft for his role in the removal of the former President Robert Mugabe.

Since the formation of the new government, Vice President Kembo Mohadi, VP Chiwenga, foreign affairs minister Sibusiso Busi Moyo and Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa among others have been regular patients at various health institutions locally and internationally.

The list balloons if service chiefs and judges who have been in and out of the hospital are included on the list above.

Zanu Pf stalwarts are popular for seeking spiritual and traditional interventions especially towards elections and their party’s elective congress. Analysts say such behaviour is a reflection of how the party stalwarts would do whatever it takes to stay at the helm of power.
