By Dorrothy Moyo| The government was on Friday afternoon reported to be in meetings with the country’s rural teachers.

By tmend of day Friday the teachers had however vowed that they will not accept anything less than a US dollar salary agreement.

Below was the note published by the Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union:

ARTUZ leadership are currently meeting officials from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. We want to make it clear that we are not going to bow down on our demands to be paid in US dollars.@NewsDayZimbabwe @povozim @OpenParlyZw @ZctuZimbabwe @ZLHRLawyers @ZimEye
