State Owned Herald Claims Junior Doctors Have Called Off Strike After Auxilia Mnangagwa Brokered Existing Impasse

By Own Correspondent| The state owned Herald Friday morning reported a breaking news item claiming that junior doctors have called off their strike.

ZimEye however reveals that the same government media reports that doctors have done the very opposite and the government had gone ahead to invite applications to fill in their posts.

First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa today met striking junior doctors at State House where they agreed to call off their month long industrial action while their grievances were looked into.

Briefing journalists after a two hour meeting, the First Lady said she had agreed to take up their grievances to relevant authorities so that they could address those that could immediately implemented.
