By Farai D Hove| Zimbabwe’s teachers are set to clash with ZANU PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration today.
A hoarde of all teachers’ organisations are descending into Harare Monday morning for the first ever meeting of meetings this year.
The convergence will see among others the Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union Of Zimbabwe, the Raymond Majongwe led union, and scores of many others push Mnangagwa’s regime head on.
The development comes as the doctors’ strike continued 38 days on and after Mnangagwa’s junior, Constanino Chiwenga declared that the regime will never pay civil servants salaries in US dollars. For that reason, there is little likely to come out of the meeting especially after the military regime failed to pay doctors.
In a statement seen by ZimEye.com, Mr Majongwe on Sunday evening announced saying, “government will appreciate the fact that its workers are incapacitated and are economically handicapped; Something must be done.”
Meanwhile, Chiwenga is seen in the below file video last week telling civil servants, “Govt does not remunerate any of its workforce in United States Dorraz…Govt does not print United States Dorraz” FULL VIDEO:
