By Own Correspondent| Zimbabweans living in the diaspora owing to years of economic turmoil have called on President Emmerson Mnangagwa to deal with the political and economic crisis bedevilling the country.
Zimbabweans based in neighbouring South Africa who spoke to a local publication said that they are now ‘tired’ of living as second-class citizens.
Said one Grammy Kasindi of Mt Darwin:
“Almost every one in 10 Zimbabweans you see in South Africa is well trained, but they do inferior jobs there because life is hard to back home.
We are homesick, we want to come back home and develop our country. We are bottled in South Africa. We have no social life there.
I wish our President could see this. He may have a change of view. Politicians must do their work and we will come and do ours and build our country.”- Newsday
