ANC YOUTH LEAGUE KZN STATEMENT ON VIDEO DETAILING THE FRAUD USED TO ELECT CYRIL RAMAPHOSA AS PRESIDENT OF THE ANC
The African National Congress Youth league in KZN is concerned by the viral video and affidavit of an individual claiming to have been paid to cheat the process leading up to the ANC’s 54th national elective conference.
If the video and its affidavit is to be believed, it paints an ugly picture of corruption, money laundering and fraud to secure President Cyril Ramaphosa as ANC president.
As the youth league we are disgusted that NEC member Zizi Kodwa has called the whistle blower a conman instead of calling for an investigation into the confession. We cannot go to the national elections with a leadership that may have used dubious machinery to get elected into the ANC’s leadership.
We are therefore calling on the National Executive Committee to intervene urgently.
