By Own Correspondent| The Elders has implored President Emmerson Mnangagwa to manage the country’s economy in a juat and efficient way and ensure engagement with civil society organisations in order to reaolve the ongoing crisis.
The Elders are an independent group of global leaders working together for peace and human rights who represent an independent voice, not bound by the interests of any nation, government or institution.
The Elders said they were gravely alarmed by reports of growing unrest and intimidation across the country urging Mnangagwa to listen to the people’s voices.
Said The Elders:
“We are gravely alarmed by reports of growing unrest and intimidation across Zimbabwe. President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government has responsibility to manage the economy in a just and efficient way and must listen to voices of civil society so that the crisis can be resolved peacefully.”
